Ignition Coil: Service and Repair

COMPONENTS

IGNITION COIL REMOVAL

1. Remove air cleaner hose.
2. Disconnect high-tension cords from ignition coils.





3. Remove ignition coils.
(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors from the ignition coils.
(b) Remove the 4 bolts and 2 ignition coils from the bracket.

Torque: 10 N.m (100 kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf)

HINT: Arrange the ignition coils in correct order.

INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION HINT: Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
