Distributor Advance Unit: Testing and Inspection

Centrifugal Advance Testing:

1. Turn the distributor rotor clockwise and release it. Ensure the distributor rotor returns counterclockwise.

2. Ensure the rotor shaft is not excessively loose.

3. If distributor rotor did not turn, return, and/or was excessively loose in the above steps, repair or replace centrifugal advance as necessary.
