1. Remove the check valve from the exhaust manifold air injection manifold.
2. Blow into the check valve from the manifold side. Air should NOT pass to the ASV side. Fig. 35
3. Blow from the ASV side to the exhaust manifold side. Air should flow to the exhaust manifold side. If both tests are not as specified, replace the check valve.
