Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection

THERMISTOR ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION






1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Remove glove box.
3. Disconnect connector of thermistor.
4. Check resistance of thermistor.
^ Measure the resistance between terminals.
^ Standard resistance: 1,500 ohms at 25°C (77°F).
^ If resistance is not as specified, replace the thermistor.
