Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection

DUAL PRESSURE SWITCH

Behind Glove Box:

INSPECTION OF DUAL PRESSURE SWITCH ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
1. Disconnect negative cable from battery.
2. Remove glove box.
3. Disconnect connector from pressure switch.
4. Inspect pressure switch.
A. Install the manifold gauge set.
B. Observe the gauge reading.
C. Check the continuity between the two terminals of the pressure switch shown in the below.

NOTE: If defective, replace the pressure switch.

5. Connect connector to pressure switch.
6. Connect negative cable to battery.
