Ignition Coil: Testing and Inspection

1. Pull out high-tension cord by gripping its cap.
2. Disconnect ignition coil coupler.





3. Measure primary and secondary coil resistances.

Ignition coil resistance (at 20°C, 68°F)
Primary :1.08 - 1.32 Ohms
Secondary: 22.1 - 29.9 k Ohms

4. If resistance is out of specification, replace coil with new one.
