Throttle Valve Cable/Linkage: Adjustments

1. Check and, if necessary, adjust accelerator cable.
2. Start engine and allow to reach normal operating temperature.

3. Remove control cable cover and ensure boot to inner cable stopper clearance is 0-0.020 inch as shown, Fig. 3.
4. If clearance is not as specified, loosen, then tighten adjusting nuts "A" until specified clearance is obtained. If clearance is still not within specifications, turn adjusting nuts "B" and repeat procedure outlined above.
