This bulletin is to inform you of the updates in the 1993 Suzuki vehicles and Service Manuals.
SAMURAI
* Key cylinder changed from a 6-digit (92) to 8-digit (93).
SIDEKICK - 2 & 4 DOOR MODELS
* A new layout style in the Service Manual
* Emission control part names have been renamed to meet SAE standards
* 2 door: - JS model is 2 wheel drive
* 4 door: -California model - Modifications in the emission system to meet the requirements for the California Air Resources Board (CARB).

* Changes in the periodic maintenance scheduling,
1) The maintenance schedule has been highlighted to show emphasis to emission related components. The highlighted intervals that are enclosed in a box should be inspected and/or replaced to maintain proper function of the vehicle's emission system. These changes were made for compliance with the California Air Resources Board (CARB).
