REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove brake hose mounting bolt from caliper. Drain any brake fluid into suitable container.
3. Remove caliper pin bolts, then the caliper.
4. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Tighten caliper pin and brake hose mounting bolts to specification.
b. Bleed brake system.
CALIPER OVERHAUL
1. Remove caliper as outlined above, then clean caliper with brake fluid.
2. Using compressed air, remove piston from cylinder. Keep fingers away from piston. Piston should be taken out gradually.
3. Remove piston seal using a suitable thin blade. Use caution not to damage inside of cylinder.
4. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:

a. Before installing piston into cylinder, install boot to piston as shown, Fig. 3.
