Power Steering
1. Loosen steering shaft upper joint bolt, but do not remove, then remove lower joint bolt and separate pinion and lower joint.
2. Raise and support vehicle, then remove front wheels.
3. Disconnect tie rods from steering knuckles using tie rod end remover 09913-65210 or equivalent, then remove exhaust pipe.
4. On models with automatic transmission, remove rear engine torque rod and torque rod bracket.
5. On models with manual transmission, disconnect transmission side of gear shift control shaft and extension rod.
6. On all models, disconnect piping from steering gearbox.
7. Remove steering gearbox mounting bolts and steering gearbox.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
