Fuel Injector: Testing and Inspection

1. Using sound scope or such, check operating sound of injector when engine is running or cranking. Cycle of operating sound should vary according to engine speed.
2. Disconnect coupler from injector, connect ohmmeter between terminals of injector and check resistance.
3. Resistance should be 1.5--2.2 ohms for Swift and 12--17 ohms for Sidekick. If resistance is not as specified, replace injector.
