Preliminary Procedures
1. Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system.
2. Remove the shift control lever knob.
3. Remove the shift control boot.
5. Disconnect the shift control cable.
6. Disconnect the shift control electrical connector.

Shift Control Nuts (Qty 4).

1 Tighten the nuts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
