Third Gear Band Apply Tube Installation





1. Install the 2 third gear band apply tube O-ring seals (53).
2. Install the third gear band apply tube (52).
3. If needed, lightly seat the third gear band apply tube into the transmission case assembly with a soft mallet.





4. Install the third gear band apply tube retainer (51).

CAUTION:
Refer to [Fastener Notice]

5. Install the 2 - M6 x 1.0 x 14 mm third gear band apply tube retainer bolts (50).
Tightening torque
Tighten the third gear band apply tube retainer bolts to 5 Nm (44 in. lbs.).
