Exhaust Heat Shield Replacement - Dash PanelRemoval Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the dash panel heat shield nut.
NOTE:
The heat shields at the dash panel and the catalytic converter overlap and utilizing common rivet attachment points.
3. Drill out the dash panel heat shield rivets.
4. Remove the dash panel heat shield.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the dash panel heat shield to the underbody, installing the shield over the stud.
CAUTION:
Refer to [Fastener Notice].
2. Install the dash panel heat shield nut.
Tightening torque
Tighten the nut to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
3. Install NEW rivets.
4. Lower the vehicle.
