Rear Seat ReplacementRemoval Procedure
CAUTION: Refer to [Fastener Notice].
1. Insert a M10 bolt (1) with 45 mm (1.77 in) of thread into the weld nut located on the upper pivot bracket of the outboard pivot assembly.
Tightening torque
Tighten the bolts to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
2. Remove the stud caps and the 6 attachment nuts (1) from the front and side risers of the seat.
3. Pull the latch release strap (1) at the rear of the seat to release the floor latches (2).
4. Remove the seat from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the rear seat to the vehicle, locating the seat over the studs on the floor.
2. Secure the rear of the seat by pushing down on the back of the seat ensuring that the seat latch (2) is securely latched.
3. Install the 6 attachments nuts (1) to the front and side risers of the seat.
Tightening torque
Tighten the bolts to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).
4. Remove the bolt (1) after that seat is securely in place.
5. Return the rear seat to its original position.
