Monitoring Procedure
Input signal of transmission range sensor (P0707), transmission range sensor (P0705), transmission fluid temperature sensor (P0711), input shaft speed sensor (P0717), output shaft speed sensor (P0722), TCC lock-up solenoid valve (P0741, P0742), shift solenoid valve (P0751, P0752, P0756, P0757, P0771, P0772), 1 -2 shift valve (P0781), pressure control solenoid valve (P0797), TCM (P1702), 4WD low switch (P1874, P1875) CAN communication (U0073, U0100) are checked for circuit rationality by monitoring each sensor and vehicle condition.

TCM monitors operation (engagement condition) of TCC in response to ON/OFF command to the TCC solenoid using input and output speed sensor signals.

TCM calculates the actual transmission gear ratio from input and output speed sensor signals and monitor it.
