Lateral Stabilizer Rod: Service and Repair

Removal
1. Hoist vehicle.





2. Remove lateral rod mounting bolts (1).
3. Remove lateral rod (3).

Installation
1. Install lateral rod to rear axle, and vehicle body.

NOTE: Use new lateral rod mounting bolts.

2. Lower hoist.





3. Tighten lateral rod mounting bolts to specified torque.
Tightening torque
Lateral rod mounting bolt (a): 100 Nm (10.0 kgf-m, 72.5 ft. lbs.)
