Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

Removal
1. Disconnect negative cable from battery.
2. Disconnect Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor coupler.
3). Remove IAT sensor from air cleaner.

Installation
Reverse removal procedure noting the following.
^ Clean mating surface of sensor and air cleaner.
^ Use new gasket.
^ Tighten IAT sensor to specified torque.

Tightening Torque
(a): 13 - 17 Nm (9.5 - 12.0 ft lb)

- Connect sensor coupler securely.
