Braking Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect coupler from stop light switch.

2. Connect ohmmeter to switch terminals, then check for continuity, Fig. 18.
3. With brake pedal released no continuity should exist.
4. With brake pedal applied continuity should exist.
5. Replace switch if not as specified.
