Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Does Not Come ON

MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LIGHT DOES NOT COME ON.

DIAGNOSIS:
The malfunction indicator light circuit is open or shorted.

TROUBLE SYMPTOM:
When the ignition switch is turned ON (engine OFF), malfunction indicator light does not come on.
