Ignition Coil Replacement - Bank 1

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Replacement (LY7) (Service and Repair)Upper Intake Manifold Replacement (LCS) (Service and Repair).
2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connectors (1) from the ignition coils.




3. Remove the ignition coil bolts.
4. Remove the ignition coils.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the ignition coils.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the ignition coil bolts and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).




3. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connectors (1) to the ignition coils.
4. Install the intake manifold. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Replacement (LY7) (Service and Repair)Upper Intake Manifold Replacement (LCS) (Service and Repair).
