Heater Hose/Pipe Replacement - Inlet/Outlet

HEATER HOSE/PIPE REPLACEMENT - INLET/OUTLET

TOOLS REQUIRED
SA9111E (SA911E) Hose Clamp Pliers

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (Static Fill LX9) Draining and Filling Cooling System (Static Fill LZ9) Draining and Filling Cooling System (Vac-N-Fill).
2. Release the quick connect.
3. Disconnect the inlet heater hose (1) at the engine.
4. Disconnect the outlet heater hose (2) at the engine.




5. Using the SA9111E SA911E hose clamp pliers, disengage the inlet hose clamp at the module.
6. Using the SA9111E SA911E hose clamp pliers, disengage the outlet hose clamp at the module.




7. If equipped with rear air conditioning, disengage the inlet and outlet hose clamps from the rear auxiliary pipes using the SA9111E SA911E.
8. Remove the inlet or outlet hose.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the inlet or outlet hose.
2. If equipped with rear air conditioning, engage the inlet and outlet hose clamps at the rear auxiliary pipes.




3. Engage the outlet hose clamp at the module.
4. Engage the inlet hose clamp at the module.




5. Connect the outlet heater hose (2) at the engine.
6. Connect the inlet heater hose (1) at the engine.
7. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (Static Fill LX9) Draining and Filling Cooling System (Static Fill LZ9) Draining and Filling Cooling System (Vac-N-Fill).
