Trailing Arm Bushing: Service and Repair

Damper, longitudinal link

To remove





1. Lift the car.
2. Undo the nut and remove the damper.

To fit





1. Fit the damper on the longitudinal link.

Note
It is essential that the damper housing goes clear of the longitudinal link.

2. Fit the nut.

Tightening torque 24 Nm (18 lbf ft)

3. Lower the car to the floor.
