Valve Body Cover

NOTE: Component identifier numbers used in the following illustrations relate to specific steps in the procedures below.





Removal
1. Remove the battery.
- Remove the battery tray and connector.
2. Extract the dipstick.
3. Undo the four screws and remove the valve body cover.
- Screw size = 10 mm.
4. Remove the gasket from the valve body cover.

Installation
1. Install the gasket to the valve body cover and then install the cover using four screws.
- Screw size = 10 mm.
Tightening torque: 6 Nm (4.4 ft. lbs.)
2. Insert the dipstick.
3. Install battery tray and battery.
