Initial Parts Supplies

On May 23, 1988 each Saab dealer was automatically shipped an initial quantity of ball chain covers corresponding to 33% of the cars recorded on your dealer's status list. A status listing of cars was attached to the Recall Service Information 05/88-1053. Shipments of pedal arm covers will be shipped approximately June 27, 1988 and will be distributed in the same quantities of the ball chain covers. An updated status listing including additional cars will be mailed to your dealership during July.

Your dealership is debited for all initial supplies at dealer net. Contact your servicing depot if you do not receive your initial supplies by the start of the campaign. Re-order after the start of the campaign as activity dictates.

Subsequent Orders

Phone or mail orders for additional supplies to the Parts Sales Office of your servicing parts depot. Identify all such orders as follows:

Order type - "VOR" Special instructions - "Recall 271"

For fastest handling, order VOR. Do not order recall parts on a stock order.
REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS
