A new special tool has been developed for removing the glued-in windshields on 9000 models. The tool consists of a suction cup/crank assembly used together with a special Kevlar wire. The procedures for using this tool are presented in the 9000 Service Manual Sec. 0, 1990 News.

This tool has NOT been designated as a required special tool. It is available for ordering from your servicing Saab Parts Distribution Center.
