Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Service and Repair

EVAP canister





Removal

1 Raise the car.

2 Remove the right-hand front wheel.

3 Remove the wheel housing trim and the front section of the wing liner.

4 Unplug the connector (only EVAP canister with electrically controlled purge valve) and disconnect the hoses. Note the positions of the hoses.

5 Remove the EVAP canister purge valve (electrically controlled only) and transfer it to the new EVAP canister.

6 Hook the new EVAP canister onto the holder.

Note: Note the position of the valve (electrically controlled only).


Fitting

Fit in reverse order.

Note: Pay attention to the direction of the arrow (electrically controlled only).
