Radio/Stereo: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Pry up 2 hole plugs from lower rear of radio trim plate, then remove 4 retaining screws, 2 from under hole plugs and 2 from top of trim plate.
3. On manually tuned radios, remove knobs and shaft nuts.
4. On all models, pull out on bottom of trim plate while pushing down at the top, remove trim plate and position aside.
5. Remove 2 screws from bottom of radio and pull radio away from instrument panel.
6. Disconnect antenna lead and electrical connectors, then remove radio.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
