Alternator, Mechanical fault

Diagnostic conditions
- Engine running

Possible fault causes
- Drive belt slipping
- Drive belt loose / Faulty
- Alternator stiff/ blocked (Foreign bodies)
- Alternator Faulty

Fault setting condition(s)
- Alternator does not rotate

INFORMATION
- The control unit is controlled by the DME control unit via a signal line.
- In the opposite direction, the control unit can also report faults to the DME control unit.
