1. Unscrew the fastening screw -4 - for the refrigerant line at the air conditioning compressor.
2. Pull the refrigerant line out of the compressor.

3. Unclip bracket for the compressor/condenser line.

4. Unscrew the fastening screw on the bracket for the line between the compressor and connection point.

5. Unscrew the fastening screw -5- at the connection point.
6. Pull out the refrigerant line and remove it in an upward direction.

1. Unscrew the fastening screw -5- at the connection point.

2. Open the line bracket at the connection point and remove the line.

3. Open the line bracket at the heat shield and remove the line.

4. Take the line out of the rubber bracket.

5. Unscrew the fastening screw -6- for the line between the connection point and evaporator at the expansion valve.

6. Remove the entire line between the connection point and evaporator.

Information
Before re-installing the component, check the O-rings of the refrigerant lines for damage and replaced them if necessary.
Wet the O-rings of the refrigerant lines with refrigerant oil.
Do not open the plugs for the lines and connections until shortly before installation.
Close off all lines and connections using suitable plugs during removal.
1. Position the refrigerant line.
2. Connect the refrigerant line at the connection point.
3. Screw in the fastening screw -5- at the connection point. => Tightening torque: 14 Nm (10.5 ftlb.)

4. Screw in the fastening screw on the bracket for the line between the compressor and connection point.

5. Clip in bracket for the compressor/condenser line.

6. Insert the refrigerant line into the compressor.
7. Screw in the fastening screw -4- for the refrigerant line at the air conditioning compressor.
=> Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)

Installing line between connection point and evaporator
Information
Before re-installing the component, check the O-rings of the refrigerant lines for damage and replaced them if necessary.
Wet the O-rings of the refrigerant lines with refrigerant oil.
Do not open the plugs for the lines and connections until shortly before installation.

1. Fit and position the line between the connection point and evaporator.
2. Insert the line into the expansion valve.
3. Screw in the fastening screw -6- for the line between the connection point and evaporator at the expansion valve.
=> Tightening torque: 14 Nm (10.5 ftlb.)

4. Clip the line into the rubber holder.

5. Insert the line into the bracket at the heat shield and close the bracket.

6. Insert the line into line bracket at the connection point and close the line bracket.

7. Screw in the fastening screw -5- at the connection point.
=> Tightening torque: 14 Nm (10.5 ftlb.)
