Technical values





Preliminary work

1. Remove sunroof cover. -> 604019 Removing and installing sunroof cover - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

Installation position of seal for sunroof

1. Pull off the seal -1- from the sunroof.

2. Install new seal.





Installing seal

2.1. Place end of seal -1- at the rear centre of the sunroof.
2.2. Press seal onto sunroof all the way around.

Information

- Cut back only the metal insert.

- Do not damage outside of sealing rubber.

2.3. Cut off end piece of seal leaving a slight excess => Length: 2 mm+1 mm.

2.4. Cut back metal insert -3- of seal, => Length: approx. 1 mm.

2.5. Press down seal completely.
2.6. Check to ensure seal is fitted securely and is flush.

Subsequent work

1. Install sunroof cover. -> 604019 Removing and installing sunroof cover - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
