Replacing Additional Seal For Rear Window Frame

Preliminary work

1. Remove rear door window.

Replacing additional seal for rear window frame












1. Remove additional seal.
1.1. Unclip additional seal at the top -A- .
1.2. Carefully lever off lower part of moulding. -B-
1.3. Lever off additional seal -C- and remove it.

INFORMATION: Immediately before sticking on, wash off the areas on which you intend to stick the seal using isopropanol to ensure that all traces of silicone, grease and oil are completely removed.

2. Install new additional seal for window frame.







2.1. Clip in additional seal at the top.







2.2. Position front edge of additional seal on the guide rail for the B-pillar cover.
2.3. Pull off the protective film on the front edge -A- and pull it out under the additional seal. Press additional seal on evenly.
2.4. Align additional seal towards the rear.
2.5. Pull off the protective film on the lower edge -B- and pull it out under the additional seal. Press additional seal on evenly.
2.6. Align additional seal at the rear edge.
2.7. Pull off the protective film on the rear edge -C- and pull it out under the additional seal. Press additional seal on evenly.

Subsequent work

1. Install rear door window.
