Replacing rear backrest frame
Replacing rear backrest frame (1/3)
1. Unclip headrest frame -1- towards the rear.
2. Pull foam inlay for headrest -2- forward out of the backrest frame.
3. Remove locking mechanism -3- for backrest.
4. Remove lock -4- for rear-seat backrest.
5. Remove mount -5- for backrest.
6. Replace old backrest frame with a new backrest frame.
7. Install mount -5- for backrest.
8. Install lock -4- for rear-seat backrest.
9. Install locking mechanism -3- for backrest.
10. Insert foam inlay for headrest -2- into the backrest frame.
11. Clip headrest frame -1- into the backrest frame from the rear.
Replacing rear backrest frame (1/3 with pass-through feature)
1. Unclip headrest frame -1- towards the rear.
2. Pull foam inlay for headrest -2- forward out of the backrest frame.
3. Remove locking mechanism -3- for backrest.
4. Remove lock -4- for rear-seat backrest.
5. Remove mount -5- for backrest.
6. Replace old backrest frame with a new backrest frame.
7. Install mount -5- for backrest.
8. Install lock -4- for rear-seat backrest.
9. Install locking mechanism -3- for backrest.
10. Insert foam inlay for headrest -2 - into the backrest frame.
11. Clip headrest frame -1- into the backrest frame from the rear.
Replacing rear backrest frame (2/3)
1. Unclip headrest frame -1- towards the rear.
2. Pull foam inlay for headrest -2- forward out of the backrest frame.
3. Remove locking mechanism -3- for backrest.
4. Remove lock -4- for rear-seat backrest.
5. Remove mount -5- for backrest.
6. Unscrew fastening screws on brackets -6- for the armrests.
7. Remove brackets -6- for the armrest.
8. Replace old backrest frame with a new backrest frame.
9. Position brackets -6- for armrest on the backrest frame.
10. Screw in fastening screws on brackets -6- for the armrest.
11. Install mount -5 - for backrest.
12. Install lock -4- for rear-seat backrest.
13. Install locking mechanism -3- for backrest.
14. Insert foam inlay for headrest -2 - into the backrest frame.
15. Clip headrest frame -1- into the backrest frame from the rear.
Subsequent work
Install padding for rear backrest.
