Technical values





Preliminary work

1. Remove trim panel for rear lid. -> 709219 Removing and installing trim panel for tailgate - section on "Removing" Service and Repair
2. Remove upper part of rear lid lock. -> 558719 Removing and installing upper part of rear lid lock - section on "Removing" 558719 Removing and Installing upper Part of Rear Lid Lock

Removing reversing camera

1. Detach rubber cover -1- on the inside of the lid.

2. Screw off fastening nut for handle -2-.

3. Carefully unclip the handle -3- with a screwdriver and remove it.

4. Release electric plug connections -4- ( -a- ) and disconnect them.

5. Unscrew fastening screw on the panel -5- and remove the panel -6-.

6. Pull electric plug connection -7- off the handle and remove the camera -8- ( -B- ).

Installing reversing camera

1. Insert camera -8- ( -A- ).

2. Connect electric plug connection -7- on the handle -B-.
3. Insert panel -6- and screw in the fastening screw -5-.

4. Plug in electric plug connections -4- until they engage securely.

5. Fit handle -3- into the rear lid and clip it in.

6. Screw on fastening nut for handle -2-. => Tightening torque: 4 Nm (3 ftlb.)

7. Press rubber cover -1- onto the inside of the lid.

Subsequent work

1. Install upper part of rear lid lock. -> 558719 Removing and installing upper part of rear lid lock - section on "Installing" 558719 Removing and Installing upper Part of Rear Lid Lock
2. Install trim panel for rear lid. -> 709219 Removing and installing trim panel for tailgate - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
3. Calibrate reversing camera. -> 914325 Programming reversing camera Testing and Inspection
4. Check the function of the reversing camera.
5. Clean the reversing camera with a clean, lint-free cloth if necessary.
