Removing reservoir for hydraulic pump
Information
Ensure absolute cleanliness!
Ensure absolute cleanliness if the reservoir is disconnected from the hydraulic pump.
If dirt gets into the reservoir, this can cause the hydraulic pump to stop working.
Information
Driving out straight pins
If the straight pins are driven out in the wrong direction, this will widen the axial stops.
The straight pins must only be driven out towards the pulley side.
1. Remove reservoir from the hydraulic pump.
1.1. Remove holder -1- on the hydraulic pump -2-.
Holder for hydraulic pump
Loosen and unscrew screws -3- and remove the holder -1-.
1.2. Drive out straight pins -arrows-.
Straight pins on reservoir
Drive out straight pins -arrows- towards the pulley side. Use a suitable mandrel that will not widen the bore hole.
1.3. Pull reservoir -1- off the hydraulic pump -2-.

Information
Driving in and securing straight pins
If the straight pins are driven in the wrong direction, this will widen the axial stops.
The straight pins must only be driven in towards the back of the hydraulic pump.
Always use new straight pins. Use a drop of Loctite in the bores to secure the straight pins.
Overview of reservoir for hydraulic pump
1. Replace sealing ring and retaining ring.
Information
Installing O-ring
Always replace the O-ring -3- between the reservoir -1- and hydraulic pump -5-.
Make sure that the reservoir -1- is fitted without tension on the hydraulic pump -5-.
Leaks can occur if the O-ring -3- becomes jammed.

2. Fit the reservoir on the hydraulic pump.
2.1. Fit the reservoir on the hydraulic pump without tension.
2.2. Drive in straight pins.
Reservoir for hydraulic pump
Secure the straight pins by putting a drop of Loctite in the bores of the hydraulic pump -2- ( -arrows- ).
Drive in the straight pins towards the back of the hydraulic pump -2- using a suitable mandrel that will not widen the bore hole.
2.3. Fit holder -1- for hydraulic pump -2-.
Holder for hydraulic pump
Fit holder -1- and screw in and tighten screws -3-.
=> Tightening torque: 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)
