Preliminary work for air guide in luggage compartment

Information

Depending on which part of the air guide is to be removed, the following preliminary work must be carried out.

The air guide is only installed in connection with I No. 575.

Air guide A
1. Pull off port plate from the body.

2. Unscrew fastening screw -1- for the air guide -A- and pull the air guide out of the heater/air-conditioning unit.

Air guide B, plenum panel air guide
1. Unclip cable holder from the air guide.

2. Pull air guide -B- out of air guide -A- and then out of air guide -C-.

1. Pull air guide -C- out of connection -D-.

4. Twist air guide -C- and pull down and out of the body.

1. Unscrew fastening screw -2- for the air guide at the CD autochanger support.

6. Pull air guide -D- out of the connection.

1. Pull fastening plug -3- out of the luggage compartment.

8. Pull air guide -D- out of the connection.

10. Pull air guide -D- out of the connection.

1. Unscrew the fastening nuts -4- securing the air guide for the booster.

12. Remove booster air guide -D- from the body and pull out of the upper air guide.
13. Pull upper part of booster air guide -D- out of the connection to the plenum panel.

Air guide A for heater/air-conditioning unit
1. Pull off port plate from the body.

2. Unscrew fastening screw -1- for the air guide -A- and pull the air guide out of the heater/air-conditioning unit.

1. Unclip cable holder from the air guide.

5. Pull air guide -B- out of air guide -A- and then out of air guide -C-.

1. Pull air guide -C- out of connection -D-.

7. Twist air guide -C- and pull down and out of the body.

1. Unscrew fastening screw -2- for the air guide at the CD autochanger support.

9. Pull air guide -D- out of the connection.

1. Pull fastening plug -3- out of the luggage compartment.

1. Pull fastening plug -3- out of the luggage compartment.

13. Pull air guide -D- out of the connection.

1. Unscrew the fastening nuts -4- securing the air guide for the booster.

15. Remove booster air guide -D- from the body and pull out of the upper air guide.
16. Pull upper part of booster air guide -D- out of the connection to the plenum panel.

17. Unhook component holder and remove.

18. Pull air guide -D- out of connection piece and remove.

1. Insert upper part of booster air guide -D- into the connection to the plenum panel.

2. Route booster air guide -D- around the body and insert into the upper air guide.
3. Screw down the air guide -D- for the booster using the two fastening screws -4-.

1. Connect the air guide -D- to the connection.

6. Secure air guide to the body with the fastening plug -3-.

1. Connect the air guide -D- to the connection.

8. Secure air guide -D- to the body with the fastening plug -3-.

1. Connect the air guide -D- to the connection.

10. Screw down the air guide to the CD autochanger support with the fastening screw -2-.

1. Slide air guide -C- into the opening in the body from below and position correctly by turning.

12. Insert air guide -C- into the connection -D-.

1. Position air guide -B- and insert into the air guide -A- and -C-.

14. Clip cable holder into the air guide.

1. Press air guide -A- into the heater/air-conditioning unit, clip in place and screw down using the fastening screw -1-.

16. Press down seal for port plate firmly and evenly all round.

1. Connect air guide -D- to the adapter.

2. Insert component holder and hook in air guide -D-.

3. Insert upper part of booster air guide -D- into the connection to the plenum panel.

4. Route booster air guide -D- around the body and insert into the upper air guide.
5. Screw down the air guide -D- for the booster using the two fastening screws -4-.

1. Connect the air guide -D- to the connection.

8. Secure air guide -D- to the body with the fastening plug -3-.

10. Secure air guide -D- to the body with the fastening plug -3-.

1. Connect the air guide -D- to the connection.

12. Screw down air guide -D- to the CD autochanger support with the fastening screw -2-.

1. Position air guide -B- and insert into the air guide -A- and -C-.

16. Clip cable holder into the air guide.

1. Press air guide -A- into the heater/air-conditioning unit, clip in place and screw down using the fastening screw -1-.

18. Press down seal for port plate firmly and evenly all round.
