Preliminary work
1. Raise the vehicle at the prescribed jacking points.
2. Remove rear underside panel.
3. Remove rear silencer.

Removing port plate for ATF cooler
1. Clamp shut coolant hoses (flow and return sides) with hose clamp 3094.
2. Unscrew fastening screws between transmission and mount for exhaust system and remove mount for exhaust system.
3. Place collection pan for coolant under the transmission.
4. Unscrew fastening screw between ATF cooler and coolant line and pull coolant line out of ATF cooler.
5. Unscrew fastening screw between ATF cooler and coolant line and pull coolant line out of ATF cooler.
Note:
If necessary, use a mirror when screwing in and unscrewing the top screws.
6. Unscrew fastening screws between ATF cooler and port plate and remove ATF cooler.
7. Unscrew fastening screws between port plate and transmission housing and remove port plate.

1. Position port plate with new sealing rings on transmission housing and screw in fastening screws.
Note:
If necessary, use a mirror when screwing in and unscrewing the top screws.
2. Position ATF cooler on port plate and screw in screws.
3. Insert coolant pipe with new O-ring in ATF cooler and screw in fastening screw.
4. Insert coolant pipe with new O-ring in ATF cooler and screw in fastening screw.
5. Install engine mount for exhaust system and tighten fastening screws between transmission and engine mount for exhaust system.
6. Remove hose clamp 3094 from coolant pipes (flow and return sides).
Subsequent work
Subsequent work
1. Install rear mufflers.
2. Fill in coolant and bleed cooling system.
3. Check and if necessary, top up the ATF.
4. Install rear underside panel.
