Camshaft Bearing Cap Torque and Sequence

1. Fasten housing screws for the inlet and outlet camshafts and the auxiliary screw of the adjusting gauge.
2. Turn the screws further alternately by approx. 90° each until the specified tightening torque is reached. This enables the camshafts to be mounted without any distortion.





3. Tighten housing screws M6 -1 and 2-. Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
4. Tighten fastening screw M8 -3- for adjusting gauge -4-. -> Tightening torque: 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)
