General - Cayman (987)

The chassis concept of the Cayman (987) corresponds to that of the Cayman S (987). The special tuning in conjunction with the high torsional and flexural rigidity of the body leads to totally distinctive, sportier handling of the Cayman, combined with good ride comfort and generous safety reserves.

In addition to the basic chassis, PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management, including lowering of the vehicle by 10 mm) is available for the Cayman as an option. This automatically adjusts damping to the respective driving situation. The driver is able to choose between the "Normal" and "Sport" programs via a button in the center console.

The modifications compared with the Cayman S are described below.
