Removing And Installing Bulb For Interior Light

Removing bulb for interior light

CAUTION:
Danger of damage to property if bulbs are used or handled incorrectly.
- Risk of damage to bulbs and bulb housing.
- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
- To prevent short circuits, the load in question must be switched off while changing bulbs.
- Only bulbs specified in the bulb table may be used.
- Bulbs with a higher wattage may damage the bulb housing.
- New bulbs must be clean and free of grease. Therefore, never touch the bulbs with your bare hands. Use a cloth or soft paper when changing bulbs.
- In certain states, it is compulsory to carry spare light bulbs.













1. Carefully unclip cover for the interior light top and bottom using a small screwdriver.







2. Remove defective bulb from the mounting.

CAUTION:
Danger of material damage if bulbs are used or handled incorrectly.
- Danger of damage from bulbs and bulb housing.
- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
- To prevent short circuits, the load in question must be switched off when a bulb is changed.
- Only bulbs specified in the bulb table may be used.

1. Carefully loosen interior light with a small screwdriver and pull out of the trim panel.







2. Pull off connector from the interior light.







3. Remove bulb from holder.

1. Insert new bulb into the bulb holder.
2. Position the cover and clip in place.

Installing bulb for rear interior light







1. Insert new bulb into the bulb holder.
2. Insert bulb holder into the light and clip light into the trim panel.
