Disassembling And Assembling Front Apron

Preliminary work

1. Remove the front apron. Refer to Removing and installing front apron.
2. Remove fog lights. Refer to Removing and installing fog lights.
3. Remove side direction indicator light on the left and right. Refer to Removing and installing side direction indicator light.
4. Remove front direction indicator light on the left and right. Refer to Removing and installing front direction indicator light.

INFORMATION: Only for vehicles with headlight cleaning system.

5. Remove spray nozzle for headlight washer system. Refer to Removing and installing spray nozzle for headlight washer system.
6. Remove front ventilation grille. Refer to Removing and installing front ventilation grille.
7. Remove front wire harness. Refer to Removing and installing front wire harness.

INFORMATION: Only for vehicles with headlight cleaning system.

8. Remove hose for headlight washer system. Refer to Removing and installing hose for windscreen washer system.
9. Remove front spoiler. Refer to Removing and installing front spoiler.
10. Remove number plate cover. Refer to Removing and installing number plate cover.

Disassembling front apron

Removing lower part of centre cover







1. Pull lower part of centre cover -1- out of the front apron -2-.







Removing cap







1. Carefully press out the cap -2- with a screwdriver. Pull out the securing cord -3- used to secure the cap -2- to the front apron -1-.







Removing fixing clip for wire harness







1. Insert a screwdriver between the front apron -2- and fixing clip -1- and remove fixing clip -1-. Check fixing clip -1- and replace it if necessary.







Removing expanding nut for number plate holder







1. Press the expander nuts -2- together and remove them from the front apron -1-.







Pulling off joining latch







1. Pull joining latch -2- off the front apron -1-.







Assembling front apron

Affixing joining latch







1. Position joining latch -2- on the front apron -1- and affix in place.







Installing expanding nut for number plate holder







1. Position expander nuts -2- on the front apron -1- and press them in until they engage securely.







Installing fixing clip for wire harness







1. Position fixing clip -1- on the front apron -2- and press it in.







Installing cap







1. Pull the securing cord -3- into the eyelet of the front apron -1-. Clip cap -2- into the front apron -1-.







Installing lower part of centre cover







1. Slide lower part of centre cover -1- into the front apron -2-.







Subsequent work

1. Install number plate cover. Refer to Removing and installing number plate cover.
2. Install front spoiler. Refer to Removing and installing front spoiler.
3. Install front wire harness. Refer to Removing and installing front wire harness.

INFORMATION: Only for vehicles with headlight cleaning system.

4. Install hose for headlight washer system. Refer to Removing and installing hose for windscreen washer system.
5. Install front ventilation grille. Refer to Removing and installing front ventilation grille.

INFORMATION: Only for vehicles with headlight cleaning system.

6. Install spray nozzle for headlight washer system. Refer to Removing and installing spray nozzle for headlight washer system.
7. Install fog lights. Refer to Removing and installing fog lights.
8. Install front direction indicator light on the left and right. Refer to Removing and installing front direction indicator light.
9. Install side direction indicator light on the left and right. Refer to Removing and installing side direction indicator light.
10. Install front apron. Refer to Removing and installing front apron.
