Removing And Installing Rear Wall Trim Panel

Technical values

Preliminary work

1. Remove cover for rear. Refer to Removing and installing cover for rear.
2. Remove rear roof trim panel. Refer to Removing and installing rear roof trim panel.

Removing rear wall trim panel

Releasing rear belt cover at the left and right

1. Insert a small screwdriver sideways into the cover -1- and remove the cover.

2. Unscrew fastening screws -2 and 3-.
3. Pull rear belt cover -4- forward in direction of travel, pull connector off the interior light -5- and set rear belt cover -4- aside.

Removing rear wall trim panel

1. Open rear wall trim panel -1- at the rear wall supports -2- at the left and right.

2. Remove rear wall trim panel.
2.1. Lift up rear wall trim panel -1- at the front -Arrows A- and pull it out sideways under the right side trim panel -Arrows B-.
2.2. Carefully pull rear wall trim panel -1- forwards -Arrow C- and then pull it out under the left side trim panel -Arrows D-.

Installing rear wall trim panel

1. Install rear wall trim panel.
1.1. Slide rear wall trim panel -1- sideways under the left side trim panel -Arrows A- and carefully insert it towards the rear -Arrow B-.
1.2. Slide rear wall trim panel -1- sideways under the right side trim panel -Arrows C- and then press the front down -Arrows D-.

2. Fit rear wall trim panel -1- around the rear wall supports -2- at the left and right and close it.

Securing rear belt cover at the left and right

1. Position rear belt cover -4-, connect connector to the interior light -5- and slide rear belt cover -4- backwards into the metal clips -6-.

2. Tighten fastening screws -2 and 3-. Tightening torque: 3 Nm (2.0 ftlb.), Tightening torque: 2 Nm (1.5 ftlb.)
3. Insert cover -1- into the belt cover -4- and press it in.

Subsequent work

1. Install rear roof trim panel. Refer to Removing and installing rear roof trim panel.
2. Install cover for rear. Refer to Removing and installing cover for rear.
