Antenna Amplifier: Service and Repair

Removing And Installing Antenna Amplifier







NOTE:
- The antenna amplifier is installed together with the PCM2.
- The antenna amplifier is located on the A - pillars.

Removing The Antenna Amplifier
- Remove the respective trim of the A-pillar.







1. Unplug the antenna plug for the windscreen -1- and -2-.
2. Unplug the plug connections for the antenna control unit -3, 4- on the left side, -3, 4, 5- on the right side.
3. Unscrew both fastening screws -6-.

Installing The Antenna Amplifier







1. Position the antenna amplifier on the A-pillar and screw down the fastening screws -6-.
2. Connect the plug connections for the antenna control unit -3, 4- on the left side, -3, 4, 5- on the right side.
3. Plug in the antenna plug for the windscreen -1- and -2-.

- Install the respective trim of the A-pillar.
