General Information:
As of June 1996 production, 911 Turbos have a longer oil fill bellows installed in the oil fill pipe. The new oil fill bellows is 40 mm longer than the former version and improves the oil filling characteristics of the engine.
Repair Information:
It is recommended to replace the former version bellows when the vehicle is in the repair shop for maintenance or repairs.
The former version oil fill bellows can easily be removed by pulling it out of the oil fill pipe. When installing the new version oil fill bellows, place the end that is wider and slightly curved in the oil fill pipe first and press into the fill pipe.
