Information:

The purpose of this information is to clarify shipping and handling procedures concerning the Cabriolet window tool, part number PNA 721 038 supplied on a loaner basis by the Technical Service Department of Porsche Cars North America Inc.

REQUESTING THE TOOL

- Phone Technical Services at (702) 348-3254 to request the tool.

- Please give a 2 week notice before the tool is actually needed. Coordination between your Parts and Service Department, and service appointment personnel is necessary. This time frame is usually necessary to locate a loaner window tool. The tool will be shipped to you free of charge.

USE OF THE TOOL

- Try not to damage the tool during use. Report immediately to Technical Services any damages the tool may have from use or shipping.

- Use the tool as soon as possible. If there is going to be a delay of more than a week, please inform Technical Services of the delay.

- If you wish to purchase a tool for use in your dealership, it can be ordered through the Parts Department under part number, PNA 721 038.

RETURNING THE TOOL (SHIPPING)

- When finished with the Cabrio window tool, contact Technical Services at (702) 348-3254. You will be, instructed where to send the tool. Do not ship the tool until you have called and spoken with Technical Services.

- All shipments of the Cabrio window tool should be done by Federal Express or an equivalent. The shipping charges will be a sublet charge to the vehicle that was repaired.





- If the tool is being returned to Technical Services Center, attach a "Warranty Returns" label to the shipping carton. This will ensure the tool is received by the proper personnel.
