Fault 15 / Fault Code 41

15: Front-rear differential lock valve Fault code - 41 -

Proceed in general as for fault code - 11 -

1. Check control unit plug for continuity.
PIN 18 against PIN 23
PIN 18 against PIN 17

2. Pull of the valve relay at the hydraulic unit.

Check whether there is a short to the positive side or to earth/ground in the circuit as descr. in Item 1. For this check, measure at PIN 18.

3. Measure internal resistance of front-rear locking valve.
Desired value is 2...4 ohm between PIN 2 and PIN 4 at the valve block.
If desired value is not obtained: renew the valve block.
