Fluid - A/T: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove transmission under body cover.
2. Operate vehicle until transmission fluid temperature is approximately 80°C.
3. With vehicle on a level surface, place transmission selector lever in Park and apply parking brake. Engine should be operating at idle speed.
4. Transmission fluid level should be between the 80°C Min. and Max. markings on the transmission fluid level indicator.
5. If necessary, add Dexron IID/IIE type automatic transmission fluid through the transmission quick fill device, Fig. 2.
