Expansion Valve: Service and Repair

Removal



1. Dicharge air conditioner.
2. Pull refrigeration insulating tape off expansion valve.
3. Press off holder for capillary tube.






4. Unscrew connection.
5. Uncrew pressure-compensating tube from evaporator outlet.






6. Unscrew union nut from evaporator inlet and remove expansion valve.
