Antenna Installation

5. Attach antenna and coupler to front windshield (refer to instructions provided with antenna).

Remove foil from double stick tape on the antenna.

Clean the area of the windshield with the supplied alcohol cleaning pad. Recommended window temperature is 50~F to 70~F.

Position the supplied template on the windshield where the antenna will be installed 13 mm (1/2 inch) from window rubber and coat the area of attachment of the windshield with "Tite-R-Bond." Allow 20-to-30 minutes for drying.

Attach antenna to passenger side upper section of windshield. Position antenna 13 mm (1/2 inch) from window rubber. Remove the antenna mast for one hour drying duration.

Attach interior coupler (inside) to the windshield using the aforementioned steps. Recommended drying times:

1 hour = 90%
18 hours = 100%

After drying, loosen antenna lock nut slightly and screw on antenna. Move antenna until proper antenna angle is found relative to the windshield rake angle.

Remove antenna, tighten lock nut and reinstall antenna mast.
