Valve Guide Seal: Service and Repair

Removing and Installing Valve Stem Seals




Pull off valve stem seals with Special Tool 3047.


Installing




Slide plastic sleeve on to valve stem to avoid damaging new valve stem seal.




Lubricate sealing lip of valve stem seal with light coat of oil and press seal on to valve guide carefully and feelingly with Special Tool 10 - 204.
